I enjoyed being able to walk to Glenn Otto Community Park, which was just about a 20-minute stroll away, and the nearby Washougal Waterfront Park offered some beautiful views and easy paths to explore. the central location made it super easy to discover the charming sights of Troutdale and unwind in the parks after a day of wandering.

A Surprisingly Enjoyable Stay Near Portland!
Enjoyed a peaceful night’s rest despite some highway noise. The staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort and even recommended nearby eateries. Walking trails and parks were a pleasant surprise—make sure to visit Edgefield winery for a delightful afternoon! Affordable, yet cozy.

Recommend it for families
I gotta say the staff here is incredible like seriously they really go above and beyond to make you feel like a valued customer and Laura the manager is just fantastic she’s honestly the sweetest and made our stay feel like home when we really needed it and the rooms are perfectly clean like not a speck of dust in sight
it wasn’t exactly cheap but for the level of service and comfort it was acceptable

You can't beat the convenience of nearby grub spots! McDonald's and Taco Bell are just a hop away, perfect for a quick bite. Plus, the staff were super friendly and attentive during our stay—it felt like meeting old pals every time we swung by the front desk.
However, our stay wasn't without its hiccups. The new lady at the front desk was a bit much, harassing us while we were just trying to pack up—and let's be real, why would she care if we were a bit noisy above the office? Still, we made the best of it.
